God's Reset Button

God’s Reset Button
I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting lately. I think God is doing a FACTORY RESET in my life; in all of our lives really.  There are changes that need to be made. I’m listening to what God is saying.  His whisper has become a “teacher voice” and He has my attention.  I have been thinking about what is really important to me: God, family, friends, my school babies, happiness, and truly loving myself and following my dreams. I’ve been listening to a whole lot of music; really listening. I’ve been making of a list of things I want to see and experience. I pulled my camera back out this morning and blew the dust off of it. God has RESET my life and I’m going to take advantage of this quiet time.  I hear you, God! I have found over the years, if I write things down, I’m more likely to follow through with them. So, here it goes:

1. I choose to focus on what really matters.
2. I’m going back to foster care classes. I’ll get that fence and follow my heart.
3. I’m going to Greece with my very favorite person next year! What a blessing!
4. I’m going to take the time to stop and look at the beautiful picture God paints in the sky every evening and I might even watch a sunrise. (I might…)
5. I’m going to find out everything I can about my Grandma’s Papa Griffin and deliver the information as soon as I can.
6. I am going to figure out how to take a ride in a hot air balloon. I have wanted to do this all my life. Why haven’t I made it a priority?
7. I’m going to snuggle with a bunny and marvel at how God can create these beautiful creatures in just 30 short days! One of God’s miracles. I have overlooked so many.
8. I’m going to keep writing. I’ve gotten rusty and I ignored a gift that is God given. I can encourage people and I need to do that.
9. I’m going to get back on a motorcycle and feel the freedom of the wind in my hair. That’s where I find true peace! In the wind.
10.  I'm reminding myself...“When it all starts coming undone, I run to you.” Lady Antebellum
